Jimmy Draper, President Emeritus of LifeWay Christian Resources
I have known Dan Hall since 1975. He was a teenager, the son of one of our finest pastor/preachers. I have preached in churches where he has served and been amazed at the giftedness that God has given him to relate to people and to lead them. He knows the church. He understands the church members. He is passionate about helping churches minister at their best.
You could not find a more knowledgeable, sensitive and discerning person to help you with the challenges you face as a pastor. He will bring out the best in you and give you great insights to the needs of your church.

I am excited to write a word about Dan Hall, President of On Course Solutions. I first met Dan when I was on a journey to lift the financial constraints we were experiencing in our church. Dan has been my coach and friend now for the past five years and has helped me, our staff, and our congregation immensely. He has coached me in how to think strategically about resourcing the kingdom of God, beginning with the church. Dan has worked extensively with my executive staff, our general staff, and has been our featured speaker two different times at our church’s Leadership Summit. Dan pulls from over 30 years of experience in leadership in the local church to challenge me, anticipate what is ahead, and forecast how we can take more ground. If you want to take a journey of growth so that you can lend significant influence to the gospel movement of our day, Dan Hall can be a great catalyst for you, your team, and your ministry.
Dr Mac Brunson, FBC Jacksonville, Fl
Dan Hall came as a coach and financial advisor to us at First Baptist Jacksonville in 2010. From that time on Dan became not only an invaluable member of “our staff,” but he became a trusted friend in ministry.
Our immediate need was help with thinking through how to increase giving, but he became a guide into restructuring staff, and helping position people into the right areas of ministry. He was helpful in numerous ways beyond just the element of tithing. In that area alone he was tremendous help and a great personal mentor.
Dan assisted me personally with coaching in the area of staff guidance, planning a multi-year stewardship campaign, sermon preparation, and thinking strategically for the churches future.
I highly recommend Dan as a mentor/coach, stewardship consultant, and one who is an expert in handling interpersonal relationship issues. He does it all with humility and expertise. He always desires to honor the Lord and help the church, and God’s called ministers.

If there is someone out there that does a better job of leading a church in a total makeover, I’d like to meet them. Dan can show a church how you identify leaders and build a team who is called and determined to lead the church to follow Christ. The men and woman who God has called will be encouraged to start breaking down barriers to begin the exciting journey that lies ahead. If a church can dare to dream in the impossible, Dan Hall is your man!
Dan Hall is gifted in leading people to dream beyond their expectations by believing God can truly use them in greater ways. I have worked with Dan in small groups where some of the men were successful business people but not very ministry minded. Dan taught them how to become well-rounded leaders who impact the kingdom in greater ways than they had ever experienced in their businesses.
Dan hall was given five minutes to share an invitation during an offering time in the middle of a huge Billy Graham Crusade in Papa John’s Stadium located in Louisville, Kentucky. When he was finished, more people talked about what was said in those five minutes than what was said by any other speaker in that day. There was more money was collected in that invitation than any other time in the crusade. Imagine what happens when he’s given a half hour, a few weeks, or even a year!
Bill Overstreet, Bluegrass Baptist Church, Hendersonville, Tn
To say Dan Hall saved a dying church is not at all an exaggeration. As pastor of Bluegrass Baptist Church, I have been the glad recipient of Dan’s transitional work with the church. His congenial personality and firm directional wisdom initiated a desire for a new beginning at a church destined for the graveyard.
Working with various groups within the body, Dan was able to reign in negative and destructive thinking and actions to produce an environment of hope and renewal. By the time I was selected to assume the role of pastor (with a 100% vote), the church was prepared to move forward. In the middle of that, he also helped lead the church in a successful 1 year capital initiative to make necessary improvements to the church plant representing a 50% increase in giving.
Dan Hall is an extremely valuable part of helping!

First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL
Dan took the time to determine where we were, asked the questions about where we wanted to go and diligently worked with our Pastor, Staff and key lay leaders to coach us in leading the church to see and embrace God’s plan for us. From conducting the initial generosity audit of the church, to creating energy and common thought about the future of the church’s ministry, to asking ‘What If’ questions and leading our leaders to answer those questions, to focusing our staff on the urgency and need of renewed generosity Dan has been the impetus for re-energizing the generosity of God’s people at FBC Jacksonville.
Today we are a different church.
John Erwin, Executive Pastor
Providence Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC
Dan’s approach to church strategy is biblical yet simplistic. He has strategically helped us refocus and refine our primary avenues of disciple-making from our Sunday morning service, to small groups, to outreach. In addition, he has helped us establish a leadership development process that will resource each of these areas with strong leadership for years to come.

Dan Hall is a true “coach” in every sense of the word. He has the innate ability to assess any situation and has proven to give sound advice. Also, the wisdom he’s received from being a Senior Pastor and Transitional Pastor afford him the vast experience needed to coach through any type of decision. If it is staff training or ongoing consulting, you will not find a better choice/coach than Dan Hall.
John Barber, Executive Pastor
Boca Raton Community Church, Boca Raton, Fl
Dan is a valuable part of our team. His coaching of key members of our staff allows him to keep a close hand on the pulse of our church as he interacts with each of us who serve in different capacities. Dan has helped us walk through key decisions by providing great insight and helping us think through and implement several important strategies which have been fundamental to the health of our church.
God has used Dan to build a culture of generosity in our ministry. By identifying issues of our church surrounding generosity, creating a strategy to disciple our church family in this area and assisting with an initiative, he has helped us significantly raise our level of giving.
He has been an advisor, confidant, and friend.
